Benefits of filtered & Reverse Osmosis (RO) water

There are many benefits to drinking filtered and RO water – from better tasting water on tap to saving the environment.

Go green!

We are all told we should be drinking more water – approx. 1.5 – 3 litres of water per day to live a healthy & happy lifestyle. In turn we are producing, buying & drinking more water from plastic bottles. An increase of over 7% every year (over 7 billion bottles each year in the UK alone)–

Surely more water = a healthier lifestyle? Well not entirely… Did you know that it can take up to 1000 years for 1 plastic bottle to biodegrade?

75% of our plastic water bottles are dumped into landfill or unfortunately chucked on our streets & beaches and if not; the only other way to dispose of them is through incineration which releases toxic fumes into our atmosphere. Either way we’re continually polluted the environment, our environment!

Drinking filtered and RO water means you are able to have healthy, toxin-free, responsible (environmentally friendly) water every day on tap! – everyone needs to start their green journey somewhere.

Save your pennies!

Ditch the cases of bottled water you buy on your weekly shop – trade them in for a filter or RO system. On average a ‘cheap’ bottle of water bought in bulk will cost you approx. 50-60p per 1 litre bottle (individually bought bottles £2 upwards). Our filter & RO systems cost around 1p per litre. Huge savings to be had!

Taste test

Depending on where you live, will determine what is in your water supply. Some tap water will taste stronger of chemicals such as Chlorine than others; according to how near you are to where the Chlorine is introduced into our water supply. Of course, there are also lots of other impurities in our water such as Oestrogen, Fluroide, Pesticides and many more. A filtration system will remove some of these impurities and a RO system will remove all of them.

No more scum… banish limescale!

Us brits are renowned for a cup of tea, but far too many times a good cuppa has been ruined by that layer of scum (cloudy film) on the top. A good cup of tea is always brewed in an old-fashioned tea pot but more often than not these days most people are having their tea from a cup & using a kettle.

The heating element in your kettle furs up quickly, leading to frequent descaling. The scale leaves nasty floating bits of scum and limescale in your kettle which inevitably ends up in your drink. Banish the limescale and scum for good with a RO system.
